Clyde G. Lundy, 81, of Eldridge, died Monday, April 18, 2016 at UPH-Trinity Bettendorf.  Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the KNOX CHAPEL of Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home & Crematory, 2106 7th Avenue, Rock Island.  Visitation will be from 10 -11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made in care of the A.L.S. Association.

Clyde was born in Rock Island on May 3, 1934, a son of Walter C. and Anna H. Ruse Lundy.  He graduated from Rock Island High School where he was a wrestler.  He also wrestled for the YMCA in Moline where he became the Moline city champion.  He married Mary C. Boll on February 5, 1954 in Rock Island.

Clyde worked 33 years as a hyster driver for John Deere Seeding Company.

He enjoyed attending car shows, fishing and loved his "55" Chevy.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lundy, Eldridge; children (and spouses), Marcia Samuelson, Las Vegas, Nev., Barbara K. (Dan) Long, Sherrard, Lori Ann (Dale) Langel, Coal Valley and Gregory (Charlene) Lundy, Moline; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Cora L. (Dwight) Armstrong, Fort Myers, Fla.; and brother, David (Roberta) Lundy, Green Bay, Wisc.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Albert and Dale Lundy and sisters, Mary Ann Quintana and Jean Hillyer.
