Colton Wayne Gradert, 28, of Sherrard, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, at home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Beulah Presbyterian Church, 9221 148th Ave, Orion. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery, Orion. Memorials may be left in care of the family, with a fund to be established at a later date.

Colton was born on September 15, 1997, in Rock Island, IL, a special son of Jon and Debbie (True) Gradert. He graduated from Sherrard High School in 2016. Colton worked at SC2 in Milan and spent Saturday nights working the door at Jim's Knoxville Tap.

Colton's hobbies included attending gun shows, listening to heavy metal music, and playing video games. He was a military history buff and enjoyed fishing trips to Minnesota with his family. Colton surrounded himself with a host of friends and was always known as a gentle giant.

Those left to cherish Colton's memory include his parents, Jon and Debbie Gradert; siblings, Dalton Gradert (Abby), Judson (Jen) Moon, and Emily Moon; grandparents, Dorothy True, and Wayne and Ruth Gradert; nieces and nephews, Cohwen, Trey, Semarah, and Jack; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Colton was preceded in death by his grandpa, Norman Leon True; and special dog, Zarra.

Colton, your voice and laugh is larger than life. Our special son, my burly boy we need you to come home. "Peace out man"
