Connie Kay Baker, 65, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. Visitation is from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Connie was born December 1, 1957, in Rock Island, a daughter of Wilson and Olive (Brooks) Drowns. She graduated from Rock Island High School in 1975 and attended Black Hawk College. Connie was a social butterfly and loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed shopping and every holiday. She was known for dressing up on each holiday and giving gifts to her friends and loved ones.

Those left to cherish Connie's memory include her children, Heather Rubingh, Moline, Bryan (Melissa) Baker, Rock Island, Adam Baker, Rock Island, and Leah (Rick) Johnson, Rock Island; grandchildren, Amelia, Cecelia, Jerry, Morgan, Alex, Adam II, Caiden, Olivia, Giovanni, Lucas, and Collin; great-grandchildren, Carter and Analycia; and siblings, Ernie (Cheryl) Drowns, Michael Drowns, Cathy (Bennett) Drowns, and Elainea (Dan) Garrison.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Ann Adams, Jackie Drowns, Jerry Drowns, Doyle Drowns, and Joe Drowns.
