Connie Kay Hinrichs-Hearn, 73, of Moline, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at the Knox Chapel of Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 2106 7th Avenue, Rock Island. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Knox Chapel of Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Walcott Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of Connie's family.

Connie was born April 9, 1949, in Moline, Illinois, to Carl and Hazel Lee (Pruitt) Spencer. She graduated from United Township High School in 1967. Connie was a member of Church of Christ in Jacksboro, Texas. She adored being a school bus driver at United Township High School, where she was able to build relationships with generations of students. Connie loved to entertain, play cards and board games. She was also a wonderful cook. Ultimately, Connie loved people and cherished time spent with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Those left to honor Connie's memory include her husband, Brian Hearn, Jacksboro, TX; daughters, Cheryl (Martin) Bear, Rock Island, and Stacey (Kirk) Koberg, Walcott; son, Shawn (Pam Aagesen) Hinrichs, Des Moines; bonus children, Shannon (Rodney) Jeffries, Runaway Bay, TX, and Byron Hearn, Jacksboro, TX; granddaughters, Meagan Bear, Samantha (Clint) Harland, and Abbie (Zach Petersen) Koberg; bonus grandchildren, Samantha (Kyle) Vick, Kaitlyn Jeffries, Allen (Ashley) Hearn, Brian (Amber) Hearn, and William Hearn; great-grandson, Cohen Harland; and several close friends.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Phyllis Spencer, Winnie Pfister, and Joyce Halberg.
