Connie J. Schell, 65, of Milan, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Aperion Care Center, East Moline.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rock Island.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service at church.  Burial will be held at Sherrard Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rock Island or to the family.

Connie was born on December 10, 1950 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Marion and Lois (Haack) Moldenschardt.  She married Richard Schell on May 11, 2002.  Connie was employed at McDonalds doing janitorial services for 10 years.  She was a coin collector, enjoyed country music, and was an avid cubs fan.

Connie is survived by her husband, Richard Schell, Milan; sisters, Karen Campbell, Milan, Joan Arbogast, Colona, and Sherry Ehlers, Texas; brother, Gary Unger, Clinton, IA; mother and father-in-law, Ken and Betty Schiess; aunts, Beverly Haack and Joyce Kavanaugh; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Kevin Peterson; and multiple nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
