Constance "Connie" Britton Hall, 82, of Moline, passed away, Wednesday, February 28, 2024, peacefully surrounded by family, at Overlook Village Senior Living.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, March 4, 2024, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. This event will be livestreamed and can be viewed at the following link, https://vimeo.com/918715070. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in Connie's name to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center.
Connie was born September 7, 1941, in Galesburg, IL, to James and June (Shroyer) Britton. During high school, Connie played the accordion and was a majorette in the marching band. She graduated from Rock Island High School in 1959. Connie married Robert "Bob" Hall on July 15, 1962, in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2021. Connie worked at the Rock Island Arsenal as the executive secretary for the commander's office.
In Connie's younger years, she was involved with several bowling leagues. Connie was an exceptional seamstress. She enjoyed listening to Christian music, and playing cards, especially with her nephew James. She was always making various crafts. Connie loved watching Elvis movies and listening to his music. Above all else Connie loved her family, friends, and her cats.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristal Hainline; son, Kurtis Hall; siblings, Bob (Pam) Britton, Joan (Larry) Jones; grandchildren, Jeremy Kensinger, Lindsey Kensinger-English, Stephanie Hainline, Briana Bland and Kassidy Hainline; great grandchildren, Avarie and Eli; brother and sister-in-law, Cindi Scott and Doug Hall; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat Pretty Boy.
Connie was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Emery; parents; infant brother, James; sister-in-law, Kathy Hall; and brother-in-law, Bruce Hall.
