Crystal L. McKnight-Anderson, 60, of Moline, Passed away Wednesday May 12, 2021 at her home peacefully in her sleep.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00am Monday, May 17th at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island, IL. Friends are welcome to greet the family starting at 10:30am.

Crystal was born on March 20, 1961 in Rock Island, the eldest daughter of Michael McKnight and Carollyn "Cookie" McKnight. She enjoyed fishing, hiking, cooking, her pets, and being the life of the party. She was known best for her generosity and warm smile. Her heart belonged to the Rocky Mountains and the Mississippi, always leaving a piece her spirt with all she met along the way. God and music were always in the forefront of her mind; Being a charter member of the Mississippi Valley Blues Society and devout church member and volunteer.

She married to Richard Anderson on December 16, 2015.

Loved ones she left behind are her husband, Richard; children, Derek McKnight, Diedre Dockum; granddaughters; Maya and Avery; mother, Carollyn "Cookie" McKnight; siblings, Ginger Busby and Kenneth McKnight; and numerous extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael McKnight and grandparents, Harry and Elizabeth Stebel.
