Cynthia S. Dohrmann-Sharp, 55, of Illinois City, Ill., passed away Thursday March 2, 2017 at her home.
No services are planned at this time. Cynthia's family will be announcing and hosting a Celebration of Life gathering at a later date. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, assisted the family with arrangements.
Cynthia was born February 14, 1962 in Davenport, IA, a daughter of fire chief Larry "Ozzy"  Dohrmann and Carol Fick Dohormann. She married the love of her life, Everett R. Sharp on July 13, 1985 in Las Vegas, Nev.
She was employed at G.P.C. (Grain Processing Corp.), Muscatine and also with Wal-Mart, Muscatine.
One of her greatest joys was spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered as a caring and giving  wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all.
Cynthia enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and tending the goldfish pond at home. She was a hard worker throughout her life and always told it like it was.
Surviving are her husband, Everett, of Illinois City; children (and spouses), Toby  (Daniel), Illinois City, Sean (Vicky), Columbus Junction, IA, Adam (Cindy), Bobby, and Mary (D.J.), all of Hannibal; grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathan, Cambree, Aiden and Riley; mother and stepfather, Carol (Bob) Trauffer, Lansing, IA; sister, Laura (Todd) Dohrmann-Newton, Davenport; and several nieces, nephews and additional family.
She was preceded in death by her father.
