Dale E. Burrill, 70, of Rock Island, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at his home. Services for Dale will be 11 am, Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Viola. Memorials may be made to The ARC of the Quad Cities. Dale was born on June 15, 1947 in Milan, a son of Oliver and Bernice (Jinks) Burrill. Dale worked as a sorter for Quad Cities Industries, Rock Island. Dale served on The ARC Board of Directors and assisted with the DSP training program for many years. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Survivors include his nephews, Mark (Tere) Burrill, Hampton, Mike (Jennifer) Burrill, Moline, Matthew Burrill, Milan; a niece, Kathy (Jeff) Ferguson, St. Cloud, Florida; and many great nieces and great nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Loren Burrill and Dennis Burrill; sisters, Mary Jane Garrison and Kathleen Burrill.
