Damion L. Hall, 40, of Rock Island, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Illini Hospital in Silvis, IL.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with services immediately following at The Word of Life Church in Rock Island. The burial will take place at Chippiannock Cemetery in Rock Island. Memorials may be made in the care of Shawny and their children.

Damion was born on July 28, 1983, in Peoria, IL, the son of Betty Hall and the biological son of Janet Golden. He married Shawntoinette "Shawny" Jefferson, his high school sweetheart of 18 years. Damion grew up as a member of Greater Antioch Baptist Church in Rock Island. He worked at Arconic for twelve years in Riverdale, Iowa. He enjoyed playing Madden NFL, watching his favorite team, the Chicago Bears, and cherished spending time with his family, friends, and his favorite nephew, Devonte Hall. Most of all, Damion loved being with his children.

Left to cherish his memory are Shawny; his children Akyla Hall, Kiara Robinson, Desmon Hall, and Damion Hall Jr.; siblings Bobby Hall, Ervin Hall, Michael Hall, Larry (Freddie) Hall, Dontae Hall, Kristina (Haywood) Gardner, Sakeena Cunningham, all of Rock Island, Illinois; and Sharon Hall of Fairburn, Georgia, along with the Golden family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Hall; his birth mother, Janet Golden; and siblings Johnny and Nathaniel Hall.
