Dan L. Brown, 66, of East Moline, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Genesis East Hospital, Davenport.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Dan was born on October 14, 1949 in Oregon, the son of Ellis and Pearl (Wolfe) Brown.  He enjoyed electric trains.

Dan is survived by his siblings, Cathryn (Keith) Reinke, Waite Park, MN, Evelyn (Albert) Melody, Fallon, NV, Barbara (Ken) Miles, Yuma, AZ, Don (Chickie) Brown, Bend, OR, and Delbert Brown, McMinnville, OR.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy Brown.
