Dana P. Pendleton, 70, of Rock Island passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025 at home.

Per Dana's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Dana was born on January 5, 1955 in Rock Island, IL, a daughter of Richard L. and Wanda H. (Goins) Bentley. She married Rev. Charles B. Pendleton on October 28, 1974 and he preceded her in death on June 27, 2016. Dana worked in childcare for many years and enjoyed working with the kids. She most recently worked in the deli department at Hy-Vee.

Dana's hobbies included reading, crafting, yardwork and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Dana's memory include her children, Philip (Debbie) Pendleton, Davenport and Elizabeth Pendleton, Rock Island; grandchildren, Rebecca, Emilie, Ryan and Zachary; and siblings, Cathy (Steve) Maxfield, Davenport and Jeffery Bentley, Rock Island.

Dana was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
