Daniel Doughty, 61, of Wilton, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in Rock Island.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family.

Dan was born on June 20, 1964, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Daniel L. and Betty Doughty (Walker). He married Sandy Mandel on July 18, 2015. Dan worked as a maintenance supervisor at Hy-Line North America in Wilton.

Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening, and was a proud member of Pheasants Forever. He was a devoted son, husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, and will be remembered for his strong work ethic, loyalty, and love for his family.

Those left to cherish Dan's memory include his wife, Sandy Doughty; his mother, Betty Walker (Randy); his children Jason (Erica) Doughty, Justin Doughty, and Johnny (Jennifer) Doughty; his step-daughter, Christina Yerington; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his beloved puppy, Max.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Doughty.
