Darrin R. Klauer, 56, of Milan, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021, at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2021 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan or Alleman High School.

Darrin was born on July 1, 1964, in Moline, a son of William D. "Bill" and Kay F. (Watkins) Klauer. He graduated from Alleman High School, Class of 1982. Darrin was a former manager at multiple theaters in the Quad Cities and a parts picker at John Deere. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Milan. Darrin was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan and enjoyed bowling, reading, watching movies, and SyFy.

Those left to cherish Darrin's memory include his mother, Kay; siblings, Diann (Dave) Lawhorn, Keithsburg, Doug (Brenda) Klauer, Bettendorf, and David Klauer, Rock Island; nieces and nephew, Amanda Jared, Abbey Lawhorn, Ali Kirkpatrick, and Elliott, Lillie, Alyssa, Madilynn, Isabelle, and Olivia Klauer; and several great nieces and nephews.

Darrin was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents.
