Daryl E. Mueller, 65, of Moline, formerly Taylor Ridge, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.  A Funeral Service for Mr. Mueller will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Taylor Ridge.  Visitation will be Friday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at Wheelan Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 4 ^th Ave., E., Milan.  Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Taylor Ridge.  Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.

Daryl was born November 10, 1953 in Rock Island, a son of Daniel E. and Gerda (Ekstrom) Mueller.  He worked for many years as an Assembler at John Deere.  Daryl was a faithful Christian who loved spending time with his grandchildren and took great pride in his career with John Deere.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Daniel (fiancé, Sheila Bottjen) Mueller, Louisville, KY and  Matthew Mueller, Davenport; grandchildren, Emma Sparks,  Madisen Mueller and Knox Mueller; his mother, Gerda Mueller, Aledo and sisters, Pam Hammitt and Patsy Mueller.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel and a sister, Debbie Adelman
