David W. Brasmer, 62, of Milan, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at his residence.

A Celebration of Life Pot Luck Gathering will be held from 3pm to 5 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Rock Island Boat Club, 1706 Mill St. W. Rock Island, IL.  Family requests friends to bring a dish to share and a story about David.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

David was born on March 9, 1957 in Moline, the son of Walter and Marion (Ringer) Brasmer.  He married Doris Yarrington on July 21, 1979 in Milan.  He worked for Regalia, John Deere, Blackhawk Foundry, Wenger Truck Lines, and Mother Hubbard's.

David is survived by his wife, Doris Brasmer; son, Theodore "TJ" Brasmer; daughter, Tabatha (Sean) McAdams; brother, Daniel (Beth) Brasmer; multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and sister, Kim Brasmer.
