David M. Fox, 82, of Rock Island passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

Per David's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no services are to be held. Memorials may be left in care of the Quad City Animal Welfare Center or QC Paws. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

David was born on January 31, 1941 in Washington, DC, a son of Ira and Mary Fox. He proudly served in the United States Navy. David spent his career working as a supervisor and quality control manager for an electronics company in California. He was a true animal lover and had a special place in his heart for his dog, Lily.

Those left to cherish David's memory include his siblings, Patricia Wright and Duane (Linda) Fox; special friend, Rose Marie Willis; and friends, Todd (Sandy) Madeleine and Mark Madeleine and his children, Anna, Emma, and Ellie.

David was preceded in death by his father, Ira Fox and mother and stepfather, Mary (Herbert) Hollingdale Jr.
