David K. Lawhorn, 68, of Milan, passed away Sunday November 9, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday November 14, 2025 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be left to the family.

David was born on February 11, 1957 in La Harpe, Illinois, the son of Landon "Buck" and Flora (Dowell) Lawhorn. He married Diann Klauer on June 9, 1979 in Milan.

David had last worked as a truck driver with Standard Forwarding. He had been a truck driver for over 40 years before retiring.

He loved spending time with his family, fishing and online shopping.

Survivors include his wife, Diann; mother, Flora; daughters, Amanda (Tony) Jared, Abbey Lawhorn, Ali (Dustin) Kirkpatrick; grandchildren, Chase Jared, Nolan Jared, Violet Jared, Kaiden Lawhorn and Quinn Kirkpatrick; siblings, Kathy Lawhorn (Dan Miller), Steve (Bonnie) Lawhorn, Carrie (Edward) Hamilton; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Landon "Buck" Lawhorn; brothers, Randy Lawhorn and Sean Lawhorn.
