David M. Lofgren, 75, of Rock Island, passed away peacefully Friday, December 19, 2025, at UP Trinity, Rock Island surrounded by his family.

A private graveside service will be held at Memorial Park, Rock Island at a later date.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030-7th Avenue, Rock Island is assisting his family with arrangements. Memorials can be made to your favorite charity.

David was born October 16, 1950, in Rock Island, the son of Jack and Jane (Minteer) Lofgren.

David worked for Close and Company, Rock Island.  He was an avid golfer and bowler.  He was a member of Pinnacle Country Club for 35 years, former member of the Arsenal Country Club and Thursday Night Men's Bowling League.

Survivors include his sisters, Ellen Lofgren, Rock Island and Sara Lofgren, Moline; brother, Tom Lofgren, Rock Island and nephews, Luke and Drew Lofgren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
