David 'Dave' Pannell, 61, of Milan, Illinois, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Dave was born on January 24, 1962 to Robert and Donna Pannell of Milan, Illinois. He married Winna Anderson on February 17, 1979 in Milan, Illinois. Dave worked for the Village of Milan for 40 years and retired as the public works superintendent in 2022.

Dave was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Winna; their children, Brandon (Stephanie) Pannell of Milan, IL, Bradley Pannell of North Liberty, IA and Brittany Pannell of Chicago, IL; and grandchildren Taylor, Addison, and Easton Pannell. He is also survived by his siblings, Robin (Jeff) Dennison of Milan, IL, Wendy (Larry) Coyne of Coal Valley, IL, Mitch (Xochi) Pannell of Moline, IL and Mike (Peggy) Pannell of Moline, IL.

A visitation will be 4-7 pm Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan.  Cremation will take place following the visitation.
