David S. Phillips, 67, of Buffalo Grove, IL, formerly of Rock Island, IL, passed away suddenly Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014 at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL.
Funeral Services are 12:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28th, at Congregation Beth Israel at the Tri City Jewish Center, Rock Island. Burial is at Hebrew Cemetery, Rock Island. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island, is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice.
David was a loyal Chicago sports fan and avid world traveler. He was an Army veteran and proud Rock Island High School and Northwestern University graduate.
He is the loving son of the late Bertha (Geifman) and George Phillips. Brother to Karey Rosenston (Al), Judy Faermark (Jay) and Bruce. Amazing and generous uncle to Gary Rosenston, Bradley Rosenston, Dan Faermark (fiancé Dana Wild), Deb Faermark, and Stacy Phillips. Great uncle to Larissa and Arielle Rosenston. Caring cousin, first cousin, and first cousin once removed to many and loyal friend to numerous.
