David "Dave" R. Tucker, 81, of Milan passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Inurnment will be in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made in care of the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan or the American Diabetes Association.

Dave was born on May 10, 1941 in LaCrosse, WI, a son of Russell and Dorothy (Quinn) Tucker. He married Linda Rennalet on September 13, 1963 in Rock Island and she preceded him in death on July 27, 2021. Dave worked as a mail carrier for the United States Post Office for 38 years, retiring in 1999.

Dave's hobbies included building and racing RC boats and airplanes. He was a longtime member of the local model airplane club.

Those left to cherish Dave's memory include his daughter, Emily Ann Tucker; sister, Kathleen Tucker; and nieces and nephews, Daniel (Kelly) Tucker, Veronica (Wayne) Halgrimson, Victoria (Craig) Welch, and Ronnie (Maddie) Tucker.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronald Tucker.
