David L. Rittenhouse, 92, of Moline, passed away Monday, September 14, 2026 at MercyOne, Illini Campus, Silvis.

Arrangements pending at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island.

David was born on December 31, 1933 in Colchester, IL, the son of Herschel and Virginia (Lambert) Rittenhouse.

David worked for Aspen Tree Service.

Survivors include his son, David Zies, Milan and grandchildren, Cassandra Dill and Hannah Dill. He was preceded in death by his parents, life partner, Shirley A. Zies, granddaughter, Elaina Dill and siblings, Wade Rittenhouse, Kenny Rittenhouse, Donnie Rittenhouse and Marjorie Hillyer.
