David G. Tierney, 79, of Blue Grass, formerly of Milan, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at his home. Services will be 10 am, Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

David was born on October 21, 1942 in Teaneck, New Jersey, a son of Donald and Rose (McNall) Tierney. Mr. Tierney worked as a forklift driver for Eagle Foods Warehouse, Milan, retiring after 34 years of service. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He enjoyed gardening and bowling.

Survivors include his brother, Chris Tierney, Blue Grass; as well as several nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Robert and Paul Tierney.
