Dean O. Miller, 75, of Milan, passed away Saturday January 15, 2022 at home, surrounded by his family.

A gathering to celebrate Dean's life will be held on Saturday January 29, 2022, with Chaplain Roger Carlson sharing a prayer and memories starting at 1:00pm followed by visitation until 4:00pm at the Milan American Legion Post. Memorials may be left to IL JDRF or Alzheimer's Association.

Dean was born on July 17, 1946 in Rock Island, the son of Orville and Lillis (Muhleman) Miller. Mr. Miller was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Korean War.

Dean was the owner and operator of Miller Auto Body, Reynolds. He was a true handyman and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed dancing, playing pool, computer games and was a giving person who never met a stranger.

Those left to cherish his memory include his soulmate and special love, Roxie Lucas, Milan; daughter, Katrina Weinert (Duane Moore), Springfield, IL; step sons, Caleb Lucas, Zachary (Lisa) Lucas; grandchildren, Nicole, Tara, Mitchell; 6 great grandchildren and several special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Lillis; sons, William Miller and Bradly Miller; brother, Jack Miller and sister, Verlee Jones.
