Obituary
Dean V. Simpson, 55, of Davenport, IA, passed away Monday August 18, 2014 at Genesis West Hospital, Davenport.
Services will be 1:00pm, Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island, with visitation from 12:00pm to service time. Memorials can be left to the family.
Dean was born on January 9, 1959 in Moline, the son of Donald D. and Marieta R. (Timbrook) Simpson.
He was employed as a welder at Buesing's Automotive, Davenport.
Dean is survived by his children, Amanda (Jeremy) Lemon, Samantha Simpson, Corby Simpson, all of Davenport; grandchildren, Marshal, Mackenzie, Mason, Maelynn, Quincy; siblings, Linda Black, Moline, Scott Simpson, Minnesota; aunts, Elaine and Lonna. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dean gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
