Debora Lynn Hunter, 54, of Moline, passed away Friday April 17, 2015 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus.
Services will be 3:00pm on Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Avenue, Milan. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00pm to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left online at http://debhunter.mydagsite.com or to her only son, Adam.
Debora was born on April 25, 1960 in Moline, the daughter of Richard and Doris Barnes Wendt.
She had been employed by the Quad City Times, Orion Gazette and Kewanee Star Courier as a writer and editor.
Survivors include her son, Adam Rowe, Moline; grandchildren, Aedyn Rowe, Trentin Rowe, Tiffany Loffer; mother, Doris Wendt; sisters, Sandra Gitchel, Connie Winters, Wilma Sanders, Roberta Evans; special great-great niece, Magdelena; best friend of 32 years, Val Avey-Fenn; several nieces and nephews.
