Debra K. “Debbie” Drish, 75, of Milan, Illinois, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 4:44 p.m. at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rock Island, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2026, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Avenue, Milan, Illinois, with the Recitation of the Rosary at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the family.
Debbie was born on May 27, 1951, in Rock Island, a daughter of Edward and Irene (Wolverton) Ludin. She graduated from Rock Island High School with the Class of 1969. Debbie married James Drish on September 13, 1969, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rock Island.
Throughout her life, Debbie held a variety of jobs, including working at Eagle’s, driving a school bus for the Sherrard School District, working in real estate, and waitressing. Above all, she took great pride in being a loving homemaker and caring for her family.
Debbie enjoyed spending time outdoors, tending to her flowers, caring for animals, cooking, and finding antiques at auctions and decorating her home with her finds. She also loved attending car shows, traveling, and swimming. Above all, Debbie loved her family and treasured the time she spent with those she loved.
Those left to cherish Debbie’s memory include her husband of 57 years, Jim; sons, Jimmy Drish and Nathan (Kelly) Drish, both of Milan; six grandchildren, Kaila, Hannah, Isabel, and Allison Drish, Ivy Norman, and Eithan Mortenson; one great-granddaughter, Chloe-Joy; and sister, Sandra Cameron.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Ed, Raymond, and Ron Ludin.
