Delanora C. Wright, 85, of Colona, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Allure of Geneseo, Geneseo, IL.  Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded.  Services will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Henry County Humane Society.

Delanora was born on December 7, 1934 in Chinook, Montana, the daughter of William E. and Thelma (Dickerson) Cooper.  She married Richard Wright in 1982.  She worked for Purolator as a supervisor.  Delanora was passionate for homeless animals, horses, and playing golf.  She loved visiting her friends in Texas while her and Richard lived there before coming back to Illinois.

Delanora is survived by her children, Vicki (Steve) Foster, Bill Jones, and Virgil "Skip" Jones; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and daughter, Debbie Hirl.
