Delores M. Heath, 87, of Rock Island, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016 at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island. Funeral services are 10:30 am Monday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Burial is at the National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Visitation will be 2 to 5 on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Rock Island-Milan Education Foundation. Delores M. Peschang was born on Oct. 21, 1929 in Rock Island, a daughter of Bernard and Margaret Morrison Peschang. She married Everett D. Prebyl on Aug. 21, 1953. He died on Jan 1, 1964. Delores later married Merle E. Heath on Oct. 21, 1966 in Rockford, Ill. He died on Oct. 26, 2015. Delores loved her role as homemaker for her husband and children. She was a wonderful cook. Delores was a member of the Trinity Hospital Auxiliary and spent many hours volunteering at the hospital. Survivors include her sons, Victor (Judi) Prebyl, Irvine, Calif., Steven (Linda) Prebyl, East Moline and Raymond (Gina) Orr, The Woodlands, Tx. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Delores is also survived by her sister, Marilyn McNicholas, Clearwater, Fla.
