Delories Huneke, 72 of Milan entered into eternal peace on September 1st, 2016 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island. Visitation will be Sunday, September 4th from 12:00-1:00pm at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Funeral services will follow immediately after at 1:00pm. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bethal Assembly of God Church in Rock Island. Delories was born on October 7th, 1943 in Dothan, AL, the daughter of the late W.C. and Lawis (Peterman) McInnis. While working as a carhop in Dothan, Alabama at the age 16, she met the love of her life, Bob Huneke. They later married on September 30th, 1960. He proceeded her on May 14th, 2013. Mrs. Huneke had been employed at Something Special from 2000-2006. She loved her family and friends above all else. She also enjoyed gardening and birdwatching. Known for her ease in frequent conversation, she will be remembered for her kind heart and gentle soul. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children, Cindy (Robb) Harned, Craig (Jami) Huneke and her grandchildren Austin Harned, Caylie Harned, Taylor Huneke and Devon Huneke.
