Deon Derrell Muscovalley, 44, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, TN. Deon was succumbed to death due to a 4-year battle with stage 4 Cancer. He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Brooklyn and Bella Muscovalley. His mother, Karen Muscovalley, his father, James Hearn, his brother, Devan Muscovalley, a sister Shantell Muscovalley, and three stepsisters, La Toya Carpenter, Tasha Carpenter, and Jay McCullar.  A grandfather, Charles Muscovalley, and a host of relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Francis Louise Muscovalley and his beloved aunt, Diane Hearn.

A live-streamed memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, and can be viewed online at https://www.wheelanpressly.com/live-stream. Visitation will be held one-hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday. A dinner will follow at the ICON, located at 124 18th St. in the district of Rock Island, IL.

The family would like everyone to know Deon is their Hero and Warrior and he is resting in internal Heaven peacefully. He fought a good fight and never questioned God or complained about why this happened to him. He remained humble and kind throughout his 4-year battle, and everyone that he came into contact with, never knew how much he was suffering because he always was filled with joy and greeted everyone with a smile. He lived life to the fullest and did not let his disabilities show. He will forever be our Angel watching down over us.
