Diana M. Gannon, 79, of Milan, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Bickford Cottage, Moline. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10 am, Wednesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church or to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, Rock Island.

Diana was born on July 1, 1945, in Kewanee, a daughter of Louis and Anna (Totino) Sherbeyn. She married Leo Gannon on May 12, 1989, in Las Vegas. He preceded her in death on September 27, 1998. She was a devoted member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Diana loved to walk and run, she competed many times in the Quad City Marathon and in the Quad City Times Bix 7. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flower beds.

Survivors include her daughters, Maria Powell, Milan and Michelle (Clint) Whitney, Milan; grandchildren, Anna Marolf, Timothy Marolf, Brianna Conroy and Christopher Crady; stepchildren, Dr. David (Lois) Gannon and children, Rock Island, Tom (Lisa) Gannon and children, Wisconsin; siblings, Lucille Huslander, Indianapolis, Indiana, Anita Carmaney, Chicago, and Robert Sherbeyn, Montana.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo; son, Timothy Powell; stepsons, Michael Gannon and Steven Gannon; siblings, Mary Ann Moens, and Augie Sherbeyn.
