Diane E. McAnally, 81, Taylor Ridge, IL passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Genesis East Hospital in Davenport, IA. Visitation will be from 4-6:00 PM, Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 14, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial at Calvary Cemetery in Rock Island. Memorials preferred to the family.

Diane was born on November 21, 1941 to Allen and Vivian (Martens) Bennett in Moline, IL. After graduating high school, she taught school and worked as a secretary.

On August 16, 1969 she was united in marriage to Marce McAnally. The couple made their home in Taylor Ridge where they raised their three children.

Diane was a homemaker and when they kids were older, returned to working in various offices in the area. For many years, she was the administrative assistant at South Park Presbyterian Church.

Diane was a very active member at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Andalusia. She was involved in the choir, served as a reader and Eucharistic minister, taught Sunday school, and did the calligraphy on the church poster every week. Her hobbies included gardening and reading. She was a very talented seamstress who did embroidery, sewing, crocheting, quilting and often made gifts for her children and grandchildren. Diane was known for her quick wit and sense of humor, and enjoyed making people laugh.

Diane is survived by her husband of 53 years, Marce; children, Kevin (Kris) McAnally, James (Laura) McAnally, and Tricia (Andy) Trimble; brothers, Dennis and Dale Bennett; and grandchildren, Tanner McAnally, Shelby Stone, Alyssa McAnally, Madeline McAnally, Katy Trimble, and Connor McAnally.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
