Dianna K. Martin, 71, of Moline, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Friendship Manor in Rock Island.

A funeral service to honor Dianna's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory in Rock Island, with visitation to be held prior to the service from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Illinois City Cemetery. Memorials may be left in care of the family.

Born on February 7, 1954, in Muscatine, Iowa, Dianna was the beloved daughter of Sherman and Lorraine (Brunson) Powell. She married George Martin, and together they raised two children. Dianna enjoyed a fulfilling career as a computer programmer at Cobham, where her analytical mind and dedication were deeply valued.

Dianna had a passion for genealogy and cherished collecting family photographs. She found joy in watching the television series Heartland, and her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren. She treasured family trips to Walt Disney World and had a special love for all things Disney.

Dianna is survived by her children, George "Ben" (Maria) Martin and Angela (Ryan) Jackson; and her ten beloved grandchildren: Hailey, Sophie, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Lucas, Jacqueline, Izabella, Jacob, Molly, and Nathan. She is also remembered by her siblings, Margaret Oakland, Deb Bowen, Joette Heymann, and Louie Powell; sisters-in-law, Donna Powell and Sherry Powell; many nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Joanie Vallero.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Lorraine Powell; and her brothers, Harold Powell, Rick Powell, and Sherman Powell.

Dianna will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
