Dolores B. Boquist, 87, of Coal Valley, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at home, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be 1:00pm on Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 4 to 7pm on Friday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, First Lutheran Church, Rock Island Chapter.

Dolores Beverly Hubbard was born on April 2, 1927 in Rock Island, the daughter of Albert B. and Lydia E. (Pealstrom) Hubbard. She married Dale L. Boquist on June 17, 1949 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on August 18, 2004. Dolores worked as a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care unit of Lutheran Hospital and later at Trinity for over 40 years. She was a faithful member of First Lutheran Church, Rock Island. Dolores was an avid bridge player who also enjoyed bowling, antiquing, playing scrabble, golf and crossword puzzles.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Cheryl (Bill) Wilson, East Moline, Susan Boquist, Coal Valley and Barb (Rick) Moller, Silvis; grandchildren, Alynna (Grant) Schulert, Ryan (Jerel) Wilson, Seth Wilson, Meagan, Richard III (Dawn) and Samantha Moller; great granddaughters, Laylah Moller and Anna Wilson and sisters in law, Marilyn Hubbard and Mary Boquist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Nancy Nielsen; brother, Don Hubbard and brother in law, Don Boquist.
