Donald E. Gutting, 62, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. There will be no services at this time. Cremation rites have been accorded. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family with arrangements.

Donald was born on November 20, 1958, in Moline, a son of Harry D. and Linda (Shawver) Gutting. He was a sheet metal worker at Johnson Contracting Co. for many years and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 91.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Brett Ulner, Geneseo; nephew, Matt; niece, Jenae; and ex-wife, Julie Simpson.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
