Visitation is 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 30th 2015, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan, IL. Memorials can be made to the Donald Marquis Memorial for MDS research. Interment is at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island IL.
He was born Aug 29, 1938 to John Marquis and Gladys Ford Marquis. He was married August 10th 1957 to Grace Ann Lane in Rushville, IL. He was a meat cutter for many years and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Grace A Marquis and Sister Irene O'Brien. Survivors include his Children and their Spouses, Ralph and Tina Marquis Rock Island IL, Donna and Carl Dailing Andalusia IL, Tim and Kathy Marquis Milan IL, Bill and Jody Marquis Andalusia IL. Grandchildren: Christina, Claire and John Marquis, Jim (Jennifer) Dailing, Kelly (Cole) Kraft, Cody (Elizabeth) Dailing, Alex Dailing. Nicole (Jonathan) Dylhoff, Bryan (Michelle) Marquis, Michelle, Becca Marquis, Olivia, Devin Marquis, Great Grandchildren: Nadalee, Grayce, Ellie and Chloe Dailing, Morgan, Laylah and Ellis Kraft, Gilbert, Russell, Calvin and Philip Dylhoff, Andersyn Marquis, Oliver Dailing. Also mourning his loss is his close friend Betty Kisner.
