Obituary
Donald H. Smith, 93, of Rock Island, passed away Thursday March 24, 2022 at UPH Trinity, Rock Island.
He was laid to rest in the Walcott Cemetery, Walcott, Iowa.
Donald was born on January 20, 1929 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Herbert and Cecilia (Neubauer) Smith.
Mr. Smith had retired from Iowa – Illinois Gas and Electric as a lineman. Donald served in the United States Army during the Korean War and later retired from the Illinois National Guard with 28 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
