Donald O. Thomas, 94, of Milan, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Friendship Manor, Rock Island.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 31, 2026 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 East 4th Avenue, Milan. Visitation will be 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Peniel Cemetery, Joy, IL. Memorials can be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or Moline Church of Christ

Don was born April 6, 1932 in Eldon, IA, the son of Wilbur and Verne (Oliver) Thomas. He married Norma Elhart on October 11, 1959 in Joy, IL.

Don retired from Holland Motor. He enjoyed gardening especially growing gladiolus, canning, collecting tractors and rebuilding spreaders.

Survivors include his wife, Norma; children, Bradley (Lori) Thomas, Emory, TX, Darren Thomas, Colona and Michelle (Dwight Jr.) Wagner, Milan; grandchildren, Kyle Thomas, Hannah (Elijah) Molina, Ava Wagner and Kelsie Wagner and great grandchild, Julian Molina. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Junker.
