Donn Rudd of East Moline passed away April 13, 2023 at his son's home in Tomah, WI.

There will be a visitation from 9-10:00 AM with a funeral service following at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Burial at the Rock Island National Cemetery with reception to follow at Christ United Methodist Church in East Moline.

Memorials may be left to the Food Pantry at the same church.

Donn was born May 12, 1933 in Rock Island, the son of Orville and Doris Rudd.  He was married to Jackie (Barbee) Rudd Aug 28, 1953.  She preceded him in death.  He later married Shirley (Lenger) Rudd on Jan 24, 1997.

He served in the Army for two years.  He then became a police officer for eight years.  He ended his working years working in procurement at the R.I. Arsenal.

Donn was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in East Moline.

He loved traveling, doing the stock market, time with his family and friends, always helping people and volunteering at the Food Pantry at his church.

Survivors include his children: Jody Rudd, Tomah,Wi.  Jill (Eric) Austin of Bedford, TX.  Kelly (Kris) Rudd, Tomah, Wi. Cory (Barb) Lenger, Moline, Il.  And Joe (Steph) Lenger, Fort Worth, TX.

Grandchildren include Alisa (Mitch), Aaron (Julie), Alexis "AJ" (Adrian), Ali (Miguel), Gabi Lenger, & Johnnie (Brooke); and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Patt Rudd and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by Jackie Rudd, Shirley Rudd, his parents, a sister Rosemary Aversing, and a brother, Gene Rudd.
