Donna Harrell, 78, of Moline, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

Services are 12:00pm, Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Wheelan Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be left for the Riverbend Food Bank or Jefferson Early Childhood Center, Moline for Tricycles. Private burial will be in Biggsville Cemetery.

Donna was born on September 27, 1940 in Monmouth, the daughter of Lewis and Evelyn (Olson) Foster. After graduating high school, she attended Western Illinois University, Macomb. She married Floyd "Rusty" Harrell on November 24, 1963 in Monmouth. He preceded her in death on August 24, 1984.

Donna worked as a teacher in Bushnell, Rock Island, Moline and Sherrard.  She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Rock Island; past president of Alpha Rho Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society Intl., Black Hawk Trail Doll Club, 4H junior leaders and Illinois Retired Teachers Association. She loved traveling throughout the United States and Europe.

Donna's family would like to express their thanks to her friends Sandy Buracker and Diane Kohrs. Without their help, she would not have been able to live in her own home the last few years.

Donna loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and was proud of their accomplishments. She enjoyed playing Euchre and entertaining family and friends.

Survivors include her sons, Roger (Angela) Harrell, Davenport and Bruce (Angie) Harrell, Davenport; grandchildren, Bailey, Mason, Logan, Anthony, Reece, Kelsey and Aaron.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Karna Foster.
