Donna C. Smith-Schuldt, 77, of Moline, passed away Friday July 8, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family.

A memorial service will be held 10:00am, Saturday July 23, 2022 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 9:00am to 10:00am at the funeral home. Private inurnment will be in Pinehill Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be left to American Cancer Society or Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Donna was born on July 4, 1945 in Davenport, the daughter of Donald and Essie (Veach) Hinds. She married Gerald Schuldt on October 30, 1997 in Illinois.

Donna had been employed at Alternatives for older adults for 24 years as an administrative assistant.

She loved spending time with her family, was an avid runner and enjoyed swimming. Donna was a member of the Rock Island Fitness Center and the Rock Island Moose Lodge 190.

Survivors include her children, Todd (Ann) Smith, Bettendorf, Gregory (Anitra) Smith, Moline; grandsons, Nicholas (Nicole) Smith, Connor Smith, Ethan Smith, Carter Smith; great grandson, Bryant Smith; longtime companion, Duane Cobert; siblings, Patricia Cross, Moline, James (Diane) Hinds, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; and her parents.
