Donna Marie (Mead) Antu, 74, of Moline, died Friday August 20, 2021 at Rivers Crossing, Moline.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00pm Sunday August 29 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, with services at 2:00pm.

Donna was born on December 4, 1946 in Moline. She was a graduate of Moline High School in 1964. After her first marriage to Bruce LaGace ended, she married Roberto Antu in which they later divorced.

Donna began her career at the LeClaire Hotel. She later was the owner and operator of her own restaurant Aunt Floss and her own Blue Seal Catering, where she specialized in cake decorating and worked at Blackhawk College. Donna was a former member of the Rock Island Moose, where she was their long time cook. She later retired from HyVee after 25 years as a baker and cook.

Donna enjoyed playing on the church softball team and bowling leagues. She also loved dancing, playing cards, traveling and casinos. She loved everybody and she was especially proud of all her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Shariann LaGace, Shantell  Beechum (Leonard), Crystal Antu and Tiffany Antu; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; siblings, Robert Mead, Marvin Mead and Debbie Vasquez; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Edna Mead; a sister, a brother, 2 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
