Donna L. Pauley, 84, of Milan passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at home.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 15th, 2025 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Private inurnment will be in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be left in care of your favorite charity or the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Donna was born on October 2, 1940 in Moline, IL, a daughter of Howard and Edna (Rogers) Custer. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Lukes. Donna worked at St. Anthony's and later Trinity Hospital, both in Rock Island. She also went on to teach nursing classes at Blackhawk College.

Donna married Ronald "Skip" Pauley on October 5, 1957, and they enjoyed over 67 years of marriage together. In later years, Donna enjoyed wintering in Texas with her husband.

Donna's hobbies included crocheting, painting and doing craft projects.

Those left to cherish Donna's memory include her husband, Skip Pauley; sister-in-law, Sherrie Pauley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth Custer; sister-in-law, Sara Blenk; and brother-in-law, George Pauley.
