Donnie Mae Miller, 78, of Milan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at her home. Services for Mrs. Miller will be 1 pm Saturday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Aledo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Donnie was born on January 23, 1939 in Breaholm, West Virginia, a daughter of James and Marie (Morgan) Rowe. She married Dale Miller on November 14, 1959 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on September 14, 1991. Mrs. Miller was a paraprofessional in the Rock Island-Milan School District for 33 years, retiring in 2006. Loves  of her life were her family, pets, gardening, and all of the children she taught over the years. Donnie was a very loving and compassionate woman and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Michael (Laurie) Miller, Milan, Marwin (Linda) Miller, Viola, Clifford (Kathleen) Miller, Lacon, Illinois, and Deborah Miller, Milan; grandchildren, Miranda, Ben, Curt, Dale Paul, Jack (Kelsey), and Abby; siblings, Barbara (Jack) Cline, West Virginia, Phyllis Lee, Mississippi, Geneva Sue Browning, West Virginia, and Gene Dingess, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.

Donnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale; siblings, Con Rowe and Rosalie Cyzick. The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care. They would also like to thank Debbie for all her loving care and devotion she gave her Mother.
