Doris G. Pinczer, 83, of Moline, formerly of Davenport, passed away
Monday March 13, 2017 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral
Home - Knox Chapel, 2106-7th Avenue, Rock Island. Visitation
will be from 9:00am to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be
in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be left
to Hospice Compassus.
Doris was born on July 7, 1933 in Rock Island, the daughter of Alfred
and Helen Brown. She married Stanley Pinczer in December of
1968. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2007.
Mrs. Pinczer had been employed at Holy Family Church, Davenport and
earlier as a waitress at Riefe's restaurant.
Doris loved playing bingo with her friends, crocheting and knitting.
Survivors include her children, John (Pam) Comstock, Orion, Helen Ruth Ann
(Tom)Thuerwachter, Daytona Beach, FL.; step children, Linda(Steve)
Branner, Rhonda Bridges, Vicky (Eric) Stewart, Joe Pinczer;  14
grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Jeannie Brown,
Madaline Nelson and brother, Bud Brown.
