Doris J. Bernard-Pyles, 43, of East Moline, died Saturday, August 25, 2018 at home.  Cremation rites were accorded.  A celebration of life gathering will be from 12-4 pm Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Coal Valley Municipal Park, 1000 W. 1st Street, Coal Valley, Ill.  Memorials may be made to: Stephanie Genova in care of the benefit of Doris Bernard, at the Bank Orion.

Doris was born in Peoria, Ill. on January 9, 1975, a daughter of Eddie Wilson and Doris Holmes.  She married Keith Pyles on June 18, 2016 in Moline.

Doris worked as a certified medical assistant for Interventions in Pain Management in Rock Island.

She enjoyed singing karaoke and loved spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Keith Pyles, East Moline; children, Andy, Jamaca, Shawna and Cody Bernard; grandchildren, Kayden and Zyaire; father and step-mother, Eddie and Sabrina Wilson, Peoria and Doris Morris, Tenn.; and siblings, Eddie, Jessie, Toby and Mindy Wilson and Dana, Brian and Kevin Fusilier;

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and son, Amos.
