Dorothy Mae Robinson, of Milan, a loving mother and grandmother, died in a hospital in Rock Island on Friday, July 18, 2014, at the age of 90. The services in her memory will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Trinity Bible Missionary Church, 1205 E. First St., Milan. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Downsville, LA, on July 24, 2014. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home in Milan is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.

She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 16, 1924. She married Hubert Edward Robinson on December 21, 1943, and they made their home in Shreveport, Louisiana, for 62 years. The last 8 years she lived with her 2 daughters in the Quad Cities. Many lives have been touched by her loving, generous spirit. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her four children: Carol and Rev. Alvie Jarratt of Rock Island, IL; Connie and Ken Wize of Milan, IL; Rev. Stephen and Cheryl Robinson of Shreveport, LA; Tim and June Robinson of Shreveport, LA; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and her two brothers Edwin and Paul Tiemann.
