Dorothy M. York, 78, of Milan, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Aperion Care, East Moline. Memorial services for Dorothy will be 3 pm, Saturday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Rock Island Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to the family. Dorothy was born on April 1, 1940 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence Hickman and Gladys Gray Hickman. She married William Neumann in 1957. She later married Robert York in 1970. Dorothy worked as a production worker at Oscar Mayer, Davenport. She enjoyed reading and shopping. Survivors include her daughter, Debra Edwards, Milan; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; siblings, Jacqueline (John) Leahy, Moline, Terry (Carol) Gilbert, Davenport, Bruce (Linda) Gilbert, Rock Island, Greg (Lashona) Hickman, Nashville, TN. and Janette Roe, Pensacola, FL.
